Senior Technical Publications Writer
The Senior Technical Publications Writer is solely responsible for writing and maintaining all customer documentation. The position reports to the Senior Vice President of Engineering and Delivery.
Documentation Deliverables
Our technical documentation describes server, connector, and client products. We deliver guides (authored in FrameMaker, published in PDF) and HTML help (authored in Homesite).
Duties:
- Work closely with peer managers to determine documentation requirements.
- Plan, write, and deliver conceptual, task-oriented, and reference information.
- Become an expert user of SEVEN’s connector and client products.
- Be able to install and configure the server components.
- Respond to requests for information from SEVEN field personnel and from customers.
Required Experience:
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, on-time documentation for complex software products.
- At least 2 years experience as a manager in a software documentation group and at least 5 years experience as a writer.
- Demonstrated ability to write for a variety of audiences from programmers and expert system administrators to end users.
- Expert-level skill with FrameMaker and Homesite.
- Experience with the following software:
- version control
- issue tracking
- screen capture
- Microsoft Word
- graphics
Desired Experience:
- Some programming experience.
Education:

Sr. Accounting Manager
Directly report to CFO, the position is responsible for direction, coordination, administration, and control of all accounting and financial reporting operations of the Company with the potential to be Corporate Controller in 6 months. Functional responsibilities include directing the accounting function, maintaining fiscal records, establishing and maintaining accounting internal controls and procedures, and preparing financial reports.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate and direct the tasks and resources of the accounting and financial reporting functions, including areas of general ledger, consolidation, etc.
- Develop, establish, and manage new business processes with financial aspects including GAAP and SEC compliance.
- Manage stock option plan by using Equityedge.
- Develop, communicate and administer company policies and procedures as necessary to produce cohesive efforts towards accomplishing fiscal responsibility and proper reporting compliance.
- Direct the preparation of all financial reports in accordance with GAAP.
- Provide information, reports and presentations as requested by CFO.
- Perform financial analysis and research of accounting-related topics.
- Responsible for treasury and cash management: cash flow projections and reporting.
- Interface with financial auditors.
- Other responsibilities as may be assigned.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS in business, accounting or related field. Big 4 experience and CPA preferred, but not required.
